Working on the Inside at Bellus
In viewing the recent construction images at Bellus Apartments it’s easy to see the progress that the Kalmar Construction team have been making.
On the external side of things the structure is considered complete with the roof waterproof membrane being applied.
Balustrades and brick work is well advance on the outside of the building with the Southern facade now complete. Work is also underway to install 2 types of cladding material to the building.
The 2 types of cladding materials for Bellus are, a Aluminum Composite Panel and a Terracotta Panel. These panels are used to give the building personality and character.
Work has begun on the installation of the ramp to the basement which will provide access to your car parks and storage lockers and while work continues on the podium car park level with the application of the waterproof membrane as seen in image gallery below.
Moving inside the apartments, the first fit out of services such a electrical, plumbing, fire sprinkler and extraction ducting have been installed to all apartments.
Insulation and plasterboard have been installed in all the ground, first, second, and third level apartments. The fourth level is in the process of having the framing completed and insulation and walling linings due to commence soon.
Painting is well advanced on the Ground Level with tiling to commence soon. Level 1 will commence internal waterproofing and painting soon while Level 2 is ready for Gib stopping to ensure a smooth paint surface.
Level 3 will continue installing plasterboard to the walls and ceilings and Level 4 will soon commence after the completion of the steel framing.
We are pleased with the progress construction is making and remain on schedule. We still anticipate settlement will be 4th Quarter 2017.
